The Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists of Illinois provide a unique opportunity to work closely with physicians that have extensive experience with disorders involving the Ear, Nose and Throat in Children. This includes disorders of ears, nose, sinuses and throat, as well as breathing/ airway obstruction, swallowing problems and voice. We also care for masses that involve the head and neck region. Furthermore, our associated specialists work very closely with appropriate patients to address the complex medical and therapeutic needs based on the severity of the disorder. Our group cares for the most simple as well as the most complex conditions that develop in children.

About the Physicians

Dr. David Walner and Dr. Robert Miller both completed residency training in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois (Chicago). They both went on to complete Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowships at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The fellowship program is one of the leading training programs in the world and provided extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various Pediatric Airway Disorders.

Dr. Katherine Hamming completed her residency training in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospital. She went on to complete a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado; one of the top Children’s Hospitals in the United States.

Dr. Martin Anderson completed residency training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Saint Louis University and subsequently completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

Our physicians have written multiple medical articles and textbook chapters about disorders of the Pediatric Airway. Our physicians present lectures to local, national and international audiences about the diagnosis and treatment of Pediatric Airway Disorders (including severe Laryngotracheal / Subglottic Stenosis).
