Craniofacial surgery involves treatment of congenital and acquired deformities of the head, face, neck, and jaw. Craniofacial problems include cleft lip and palate, micrognathia (small jaw), hemifacial microsomia (Goldenhar’s), rare facial clefts, and other anomalies.

These conditions require collaboration by a multidisciplinary team. Our surgeons participate in the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Advocate Children’s Hospital Park Ridge. Team members include cleft/craniofacial surgeons, ENT, dentistry, oral surgery, speech therapy, audiology, and developmental pediatrics.
